A Yellow course for beginners and a Chasing Start which consists of 2 short courses for more experienced orienteerers are available.
Entries close at 10.30 pm on Thursday 8th May.

The next AYROC orienteering activity will be held at Rozelle Park in Ayr on Saturday 10th May 2025 at 11.00 am when there will be a Yellow course for beginners and a Chasing Start which consists of 2 short courses, the second of which will involve participants setting off in the order they completed the first course. The first person to finish is the winner. There is also the choice of only doing the first short course.
Rozelle Park is a South Ayrshire Council park in Alloway, Ayrshire which houses Rozelle House and McLaurin Art Galleries. The park has playing fields as well as woodland areas with many paths.
There are toilets in Rozelle House.

Travelling on the A77 south, continue straight on at the Bankfield roundabout. Take the Alloway turnoff, Doonholm Road. Follow the road, straight through the small roundabout, past the NTS Burns Museum to the T junction where you turn right on to Alloway/Monument Road. Follow this past the village shops and Rozelle Park is a few hundred metres further on, turn Right.
First Aid will be available at the car where Registration takes place, in the Car Park. Please ensure that if you have any medical conditions which it would be helpful for a First Aider to know about, these are written and carried on your person. The nearest hospital is Ayr Hospital. Directions will be available in the First Aid box.
Dogs on leads will be welcomed. There will be many other dogs in the park.
The map scale is 1:5000.
Please be courteous to other park users, including horses and dogs. There are many tree roots so be careful of footing, and depending on weather prior to the event there could be mud on paths and therefore the possibility of slips.
