Seasons greetings to all.
AYROC will be taking a break over the festive period so our next activity will be on Saturday 10th January 2026 at the Beach Park in Irvine. There will be a long and a short course, focusing on short and long legs.
Irvine Beach Park is an area of open park land between Irvine Harbour and Gailes Golf Course to the South. The northerly section, has a pond, children's play area and many paths along the dunes and over lumps in the terrain, mostly short grass but some patches of rougher grass. There are a few wooded areas and bushes. The Magnum Leisure Centre was sited here but this area is now earmarked for development. The southerly end of the site has remains of industrial history with a pattern of gas storage bases. The terrain is rougher to the south with many paths across the dunes and over the lightly wooded and bushed area.
Parking and Registration will be at the South Car Park.
