Event Details

Ayrshire Orienteering Club's next activity will be on Saturday 28th September at Belleisle Park, Ayr at 11.00am. This is a practice session designed to offer route choices (eg on or off paths, left or right of obstacle). The technical difficulty is not high. There will be two courses, Short approximately 2kms and Long approximately 4kms.

Belleisle park is a small wooded area which is around the now derelict Belleisle House with many paths and butting onto the Golf Course.

Parking will be in the Golf Course Car Park, which can be found from the A77 Alloway Turn off, by following Doonvale Road going straight at the small roundabout, Murdoch's Loan, pass the Burns Birthplace Museum and turn right at the T junction. At the next mini roundabout turn left down Greenfield Avenue, golf course on the right. At the T junction turn right and after approximately 500 metres turn right into Belleisle Park and Golf Course.
