AYROC orienteering activity at Dundonald Woods on Saturday 14th October 2023 at 11.00. There'll be Yellow, Orange and Green courses. Entries close at 10.30 pm on Thursday, 12th October. All welcome.

Event Details
The next AYROC activity will be at Dundonald Woods on Saturday 14th October 2023 at 11.00 when there will be Yellow. Orange and Green courses.
A new map will be used on this wooded hillside to the west of Dundonald Castle. The terrain is mixed woodland with a number of paths.
Hillhouse Quarries are the owners and operate the quarry to the west.
Dundonald can be approached from the A78, the A77 and the west of Kilmarnock.
Please park carefully in the streets of the village, please do not use the Castle car park as there are only a few spaces in this. The Start will be signposted from the Castle visitor centre.

From the Castle Car Park walk down hill, past the football field and then along a path for about 100ms. The start and registration as well as First Aid will be on your right in an open area, before reaching the woods.
There are customer toilets available at the Castle cafe and the Garden Centre, Drybridge Road.
