Event Details

AYROC's next club event will be the combined School's Practice and Score at Fullarton Woods on Saturday 22nd April 2023. There will be White, Yellow, and Orange line courses. In addition there will be a Score Course.

Fullarton Woods is a small wooded area owned by South Ayrshire Council but managed by the Friends of Fullarton Woods. It has a large path network through the mixed woodland, which has a playpark, fairy trail, allotments and bounded by the rugby pitches and golf course.

It can be approached by taking the B749, Monktonhill Road which leads to Troon, on the sharp left bend is a junction to the right. Follow this minor road (Isle of Pin Road) round past the Mar Rugby Club, continue straight on past the Courtyard building on right to the Car Park. Alternatively, from the A78 take the minor road off the B746, and before taking a sharp left bend, take the drive straight on past Mar Rugby Club, turning right at the T junction to the Car Park on your right.

Toilets available at the car park.

Registration by the car park.

The usual leg cover is recommended. Dogs on lead only. There will probably be a number of other users of the park so please be considerate.
