AYROC Night orienteering activity at Craigie Estate, Ayr at 5.15 pm on Saturday 3rd December 2022.
This is different from daytime orienteering and certainly challenging but worth a try.
There will be two courses; a short 2.5km with 10 controls and a long 4.2km with 15 controls. Head torches are required for this activity and spare batteries or torch would also be useful. The club has Head torches which can be borrowed (see the Google form). Compasses are recommended because of the difficulty setting the map to ground features.
Warm clothing including gloves are advised
The start will be at Craigie House on University Avenue, AYR.

This is signposted off Craigie Road to UWS Campus and Ayr Academy.
Parking will be in a Car Park beside the House.
There will be no toilet facilities. Toilets are available in Tescos' Supermarket on Whitletts Road .
