Children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult on the course.

AYROC's next activity is on Saturday 25th November at 5.00 pm at Craigie Estate. This will be orienteering in the dark with the use of head torches, the club has a few which can be borrowed. Children under 14yrs should be accompanied by an adult on the course. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather and lack of sunlight, for example gloves.
Parking and registration will be in the small car park beside Craigie House on University Avenue. Take Whitletts Road from the A77, just after Ayr Racecourse take Craigie Road to the left at the lights, first left into Craigie Way, signed to University Campus, following this road round to the roundabout, straight into University Avenue.

The map comprises Craigie Estate which sits to the North of the River Ayr. UWS campus and Ayr Academy plus the Athletics Stadium (Riverside Sports Arena) are all housed in this area but there is also mixed woodland with paths and a golf course to the East.
There are no toilets available on site but local supermarkets should still be open.
