AYROC orienteering activity on Saturday, 2nd September 2023 at Annick Park, Irvine.
There are three courses available - Norwegian, Norwegian with a map and Yellow.
Norwegian course, in which orienteers have no map of their own but use sections of maps attached to the control site, requires them to recall the details between controls.
However, if you are not up to this challenge, a map can be used for the 4.5km course.
There will also be a Yellow course.
This will take place at Annick Park with parking in the Car park of Greenfield Academy, Dreghorn, opposite Fire Station and next to Parks Car Show room.

The map is on a scale of 1:5000. The area is a public park which has not had a lot of attention so is quite rough with mixed woodland and many paths.
