The AYROC committee are pleased to let you know that the Scottish Government and our governing body, SOA have stated that SOA members can resume local orienteering activities in our local authority areas.
Accordingly there will be an activity comprising three courses; beginner 2.2km, medium 2.9km and long 4.9km in Culzean Country Park on Sunday 28th March 2021, between 11am and 1pm.
Apologies to those who cannot cross the boundaries, hopefully the Covid restrictions will be lifted at the end of April, if not before.
Children & Young People (17 years or under)
▪ Children and young people may travel into or out of a Level 4 area for organised activity if that is where their sport, club or activity usually takes place. The intent is to permit regular organised group activity in the location this usually take place. Participants must not travel to other clubs.
▪ People 18 and over must remain within their local authority area.
▪ Parents can drive under 18s outside their local authority area for their regular
organised group activity but are not permitted to participate in the activity. SOA Guidance
Please read the attached BOF Code of Conduct and fill in the registration form in order to comply with the Test and Protect system.
Pre Registration to midnight on Friday 26th March is essential.
