MEMBERSHIP 2012
How to join- complete the form and send it with a cheque for the appropriate fee to the membership secretary.
First, as there are two levels of Membership within British Orienteering; Local British Orienteering Membership (LBM) and National British Orienteering Membership
(NBM), you need to decide what will be appropriate for you.
To determine which level of membership you require you need to consider how far you travel to compete, the type of competitions you want to take part in and how
frequently you orienteer. Broadly, local membership is fine if you only orienteer in Scotland, but you will pay a slightly higher entry fee if you go to events outside
Scotland.
You can choose to join British Orienteering as a senior (21 or over), junior (20 or under), or as a family (spouses or parents/guardians and any young person under 25
years of age on 31st December 2012 sharing the same permanent address.)
